$220.00
This Olive green tunic top is made with 100% Cotton fabric in size S/M.
This spiral piece can fit at least three different sizes, like 4-6-8 depending how you wear your clothes.
These turtle necks are loosely spiraled around the neck that is very cozy.
They are bell sleeved and longer.
These cotton fabrics stretch with the body and they feel good on and make anybody look slim.
They have no zipper, no buttons and no side seams.
It’s hand washed and flat dry on a towel and kept for generations.
We recommend folding it in your closet. Travels well in a small spot.
Please note that each dress is one of a kind and handmade uniquely by the artist.
At the beginning in 2000, I found this ribbon material at a dumpster in Brooklyn. Started experimenting and re-upcycling with the long stretch fabric that was perfect for creating these Spirals pieces. One long stretch fabric ribbon goes around the body as one continuous movement that is infinite. These are the very first pieces I have started with the spiral adventure and a few years later I was never able to find this very simple cotton fabric in New York.
Finally, after many years, I found the fabric in Istanbul 2022. Enjoy!

Selma Karaca –
Any material that can be sewn together in ribbon forms gives me a continuous-unending direction in between time and space to create art in wearable pieces that link between the inner and outer world in an energetic aesthetic.
This Spiral concept brings attention to the primordial need for art to collaborate with the human body. I search for infinite beauty and detail in these spiral works that find their form in the bodies that wear them.
Every piece I create has this very basic symbol of stillness and fluidity. The enigmatic fit of these dresses has been flattering for any woman’s shape.
